I did already, some months ago, when you  (n.b. Jean Michel) first raised the possible launch of wikisita, mentioned my recollection of the ‘DRs Meeting ‘, held annualy during the time that Georges Monniot was our DG, and which brought together the DR’s from all of the five continents ( I should need to put my ‘gray matter ‘ into trying to recall all the 10 or 12 «’Regions’, and the names of the DR in charge). Ruedi, Bernard and Solly could certainly help here. One of the most enjoyable features of this annual get-together was, of course, the dinner-party given by Mr Monniot, to which in addition to the DR’s, some dozen or so of the Head Office Directors were invited, together with their spouses. On one occasion in the early 1970’s ( 1974 or 1975, I think it was ) this party was held at the ‘logement de fonction’ of the then Director General, in the rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, just opposite the Elysée Palace. ( Georges Monniot took his retirement in 1976, the year of the arrival from AF, as our new DG, of Mr Claude Lalanne . )
