  I gave up flying despite the fact that my pilot license is still valid until Mar next year. I had enough with all the new regulations EASA is implementing and turned back to my very first ‎passion the Gotthard railway line with its fantastic locos, whereby I recognised the chance to refurbish my 120t heavy baby to a new life! The loco is 60 years old with 7mio km done. She is now in pretty good condition and I keep her ready at any time for operation on the Gotthard line. Homebase is Erstfeld If you have time, come and see us at Erstfeld‎ (www.historic-erstfeld.ch) "De facto" it is my loco, but "de jure" she still belongs to SBB‎. I have signed a contract with SBB to maintain and keep her operational so that SBB can sell charter rides all over CH. In return SBB pays for the Depot at Erstfeld, which is quite expensive and over my budget capabilities !
