This bokklet was published at the occasion of Sita’s 25th anniversary in 1974. Here is part 1.

In this document published in 1979 in the “SITA ANNUAL REPORT 1978”, SITA’s history is presented in detail , icluding the role of the founding airlines and their representative.
A very unique tribute to the role of all those who made SITA possible as a worldwide reality!

This technical paper was authored by G Chrétien, W Konig and J Rech and published in 1975 in the NATO Advanced Study Series on Computer Communication Networks.
The SITA network as it stood before the deployment of the DTN is
fully described.

SITA Head Office was located, until 1968 at 9, rue Théodore de Banville in Paris. A photograph of that building is shown in this documment.
You will also find another picture (taken in 1978?) of a meeting held apparently in Vancouver and on which we can recognize some young men: Solly Dwek, K.S. Molenaar and D. Andorka.

SITA held a meeting in Singapore in 1971 for the purpose of developing network facilities in the Pacific area. On this photogragh we can see G. Monniot, then General Manager of SITA, addressing the audience.
