After reading the home page, the first thing you should do is click on your name in the upper right corner of the screen.
Then click on “Edit my profile” to complete your profile.
From there you can also upload documents (Word, pdf, etc) for publication in your profile.
If you wish to upload photos, you click on “Media” and the upload them, create albums, etc.
From your profile you can also select the groups you want to join, by clicking on edit my profile.
Going back to home page you can see photo albums by clicking on “Photos” or see what is going on in different groups by clicking on groups. If you wish to publish photoo albums in the “Photos” section, then click on “Upload” to upload them and upon your request we will push them to the “Photos” section.
You may also wish to contribute with short “posts” easily visible to everyone and here is ghow tro proceed:
1. Click on the dial (cadran) icon (on top of screen and second from left)
2. Click on “Dashboard”
3. Select “Posts”
4. Double-click on “Add New”
5. Write and edit your text
6. You can include pictures by clicking on “Media”
7. Then go down and on the right side of the screen and select the categories in which you want you post to appear
8. Then move to top right and click on one of the following:
a “Draft”
b “Preview”
c “Publish”
d “Move to Trash”
Once you have clicked on “Publish” you are done and your post is published!
From the Dashboard you can also make some additional additions or changes to your profile such as:
– Adding biographical information. This information should be short as it is going to appear under any contribution you author on wikisita
– Changing the password
– Selecting your name displayed publicly on wikisita
– etc.
